80% of Skin Damage Occurs during Childhood
Research shows that exposure to sunlight, coupled with the rapidly diminishing Ozone layer are cited as the main cause for the dramatic rise in the development of “invasive primary coetaneous malignant melanoma” ~more commonly called Skin Cancer. Perhaps the most frightening fact is that skin cancer has its roots in childhood ~ up to 80% of the damage caused through increased exposure occurs before the age of 18. Endorsed by the Cancer Association of South Africa as providing excellent protection from the harmful effects of the sun, NScessity’s range of Second Skins UV Protection Suits are designed to protect young sensitive skins from the growing threat of sun-induced skin cancer. Manufactured from high quality DuPont Lycra™, they aim to promote sun protection as a fashionable and trendy option for youngsters who enjoy an outdoor and active lifestyle. Available for ages 0-12, our suits come in a range of funky colours and designs including one-piece popper suits for babies, body suits, shorts & T-Shirts for boys & girls, as well as hats with peaks and neck flaps for maximum protection.
